The val ue of contents was asslJlled to be 30 percent of the total <br />market value of the structure. Structure and contents valuation for special <br />buildings such as the Municipal Building, the Library, the Recreation <br />Center, etc., was defined by individual structure-by-structure field survey <br />and interviews with owners or responsible parties. <br /> <br />These val ues formed the basi s for estimating flood damage costs for the 10 <br />and 100-year flood events. Incl uded in the estimate of flood damage costs <br />are structure and contents damages for commerc i a 1, i nd ust ri al and resi d en- <br />tial structures bridge and road repairs, debris removal and property clean- <br />up. <br />
