Increasing interdependencies (power, computer, telecom, etc.) must be <br />considered in vulnerability assessment. <br />3. Should infrastructure protection become prescriptive requirements (e.g. security <br />hardware, management practices, etc.) or encouraged by guidance and funding for <br />water systems? <br />4. Should industry standards be updated to address supply/treatment/distribution <br />system security and detection? <br />5. Develop a secure and effective information dissemination strategy - currently <br />this is part of ISAC initiative and Infragard <br />6. Develop a regular bulletin/newsletter on new security issues, developments (use <br />NIPC Beacon as a vehicle or...) <br />7. Close the FOIA access route to sensitive security information <br />8. Utilities must take the initiative to establish a relationship with local law <br />enforcement, FBI and OEM <br />9.
