Program Cost Breakdown <br /> <br />Costs related to individual floodproofing projects will vary widely, depending on value <br />and condition of the structure, depth and velocity of stormwater drainage, type of <br />floodproofing measures deployed, and site specific conditions_ Planning-level costs for <br />most commonly used floodproofing measures are enumerated in the Floodproofing <br />Program section, titled "Floodproofing Unit Cost Table". <br /> <br />Costs for floodproofing design and construction are estimated at $5,000 per residential <br />household and $5,000 to $20,000 per commercial or industrial property, with an <br />additional costs to administer the program as detailed below_ It is likely that most of the <br />floodproofing will occur on residential properties_ The number of properties benefiting <br />from the program will depend on the degree of subsidy for each property_ Assuming an <br />average cost, including incidental project management costs distributed evenly over all <br />floodproofing projects, of $6,667 per property, as few as nine properties (at full subsidy) <br />will be floodproofed_ <br /> <br />Cost Share Allocation: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Fundine: Source Amount ($) <br />City of Fort Collins - (includes in-kind and $15,00 <br />contractual services) <br />State, Colorado Water Conservation Board $0 <br />Federal, HMGP Funds- $45,000 <br />Estimated Proiect Cost $60,000 <br />Private, varies depending on subsidy level- $0 to <br />(Contribution of Owner 0% for a full grant $600,000 <br />up to 75% for partialln"ant) <br /> <br />B.
