<br />WHEREAS, Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff. under
<br />contract with the Federal Insurance Administration, completed
<br />in February, 1978, a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study,
<br />Town of Castle Rock, Colorado, bouglas County"; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />information
<br />tributary to
<br />
<br />said report included detailed floodplain
<br />for East Plum Creek, Sellers Gulch, unnamed
<br />Sellers Gulch, and Hangmans Gulch; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado ~ater Conservation Board,
<br />requested by the Town of Castle Rock, by Resolution No.
<br />adopted November I, 1978, designated and approved
<br />floodplains described in said report; and
<br />
<br />as

<br />WHEREAS, Howard, Needles. Tammen & Bergendoff, under
<br />contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency,
<br />completed in March, 1980, a report entitled "Flood Insurance
<br />Study, Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas"; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain
<br />inforniati'on for East Plum Creek, Hangmans Gu'lch, Cherry Creek,
<br />Sellers Gulch and unnamed ttibutary to Sellers, Gulch, and
<br />floodprone areas (Zone A), which' are approximate floodplains,
<br />for 6400 Tributary East Fork, East Plum Creek, unnamed
<br />tributary to East Plum Creek and McMurdo Gulch within the 1987
<br />corporate limits of the Town of Castle Rock; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as
<br />requested by Douglas County, by Resolution No. 164, adopted
<br />September 9, 1980, designatea ana approved the floodplains
<br />described in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a new,report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town
<br />of Castle Rock, Colorado, Douglas County," dated September 30,
<br />1987, has been prepared by the J. F. Sato and Associates, Inc.,
<br />under contract with the Fedetal Emergency Management Agency;
