<br />Mr. Commissioner Milam <br />ing resolution: <br /> <br />moved the adoption of the follow- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br />Series of 19y9-- <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Fre- <br /> <br />mont County; <br /> <br />THAT WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Fremont <br /> <br />County, did on the 1st day of July, 1968, enact its Resolution a- <br /> <br />dopting Zoning Regulations concerning land within the unincorporated <br /> <br />area of Fremont County: <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears necessary to amend such zoning regula- <br /> <br />tions; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, statutory authorization is provided pursuant to <br /> <br />the authority contained in Title 24, Article 65, Colorado Revised <br /> <br />Statutes 1973, as amended, and Title 30, Article 28, Colorado Re- <br /> <br />vised Statutes 1973; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that there <br /> <br />are within the County of Fremont certain flood hazard areas consti- <br /> <br />tuting natural hazards of state and local interest, the occupation <br /> <br />of which is likely to cause the loss of human life and destruction <br /> <br />of property, and that the imprudent occupation of these floodplains <br /> <br />will pose a continuing and greater future danger to life and property, <br /> <br />unless proper regulations are adopted concerning their use and occu- <br /> <br />pation; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Fremont County hereby finds and determines that: <br /> <br />(a) Certain areas of flood hazard of Fremont County, Colorado <br /> <br />are subject to periodic inundation which may result In loss of life <br /> <br />and property, health and safety hazards, disruption of commerce and <br />
