WHEREAS, Section 37-60-1 DEi (1) (cl, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwatet runoff channels or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood (intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profile,>; in said new report, and further recommends that the floodplain designation for that pntion of Boxelder Creek extending from Wil10x Lane downstream to the confluence with the Cache la poudre River as approved by resolution No.9, adopted June' 3, 1970, be rescinded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- vat ion Board in reg ular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, th is 7th day of January, 1983, that it does hereby des ignate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inundated by a 1 aD-year flood as descr ibed by the flood water surface elevat ions and prof iles in said new report, dated August, 1981, and does hereby rescind that said portion of. resolution No.9, dated June 3, 1970; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified C<:lpy of this resolution to the City of Fort Collins; the Board of: County Commissioners of Larimer County; the U. S. Department C)f Agr icul ture, Soil Conservation Service; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
