On October 17, 1990, your client Kenneth Wright <br />of Wright Water Engineers, Inc. sent a memo to Frank Akers at the <br />CWCB. This memo explained Mr. Wright's position that he would <br />not vary from a draft contract prepared by your firm when con- <br />tracting with CWCB on this project. Mr. Wright seemed quite con- <br />cerned that his liability exposure may be increased if the exact <br />contract drafted by your office was not adopted. <br /> <br />In order to get this contract approved by the State Con- <br />troller and his legal counsel in this office, I will need to <br />tighten up some of the possible ambiguities that I have identi- <br />fied in the contract. I think it would be most expeditions if we <br />could meet sometime the week of October 29, 1990 to discuss my <br />concerns. <br /> <br />I will be out of town until October 24.
