Submit plans to Corps of <br />Engineers for review and comments on any proposed recreation type <br />facilities to be constructed in an exi~ting or approved floodway area. <br />Each plan including hydraulic computac~ons will be reviewed for in- <br />dividual and cumulacive effeccs to determine if the proposed consCruction <br />would produce adverse effects on an existing .or approved floodway area. <br /> <br />13. PLANTING OF TREES. <br /> <br />a. !he planting of trees anywhere within a floodway is discouraged. <br />Exceptions will only be granced in those cases where levee freeboard is <br />adequace to permit an additional increase in water surface caused by the <br />trees. In these cases the planted trees shall be of the deep-root type, <br />shall have a minimum spacing of 50 feet, center to center, and shall be <br />pruned to permit mowing with tractor-type mowers. No bush or vine-cype <br />plants ~hall be permicted. <br /> <br />b.
