<br />fl .- <br />I\~ <br /> <br />~l~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />of the flood fringe flow to the main channel so it will pass <br />through the bridge opening, rather than flooding adjacent lands. <br />All flood damage potential northwest of the site will not be <br />eliminated, as portions of flow will still bypass the southwest <br />corner of the site. <br /> <br /> <br />SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> <br />The Hyde Park P.U.D. project may be developed in such a manner as <br />to locate dwelling units outside of the flood damage potential area <br />from a lOO-year runoff event on the Roaring Fork River as predicted <br />by normally accepted engineering criteria. This statement is based <br />on an analysis of the flood plain studies conducted by others for <br />various governmental regulatory agencies.
