Alternative 3A combines channel impI'ovement and a major amount of box culvert construction, fOllowing insofar as possible the route af the historical West,erly Creek channel. Alternative 3B combines open channel construction and existing sl:ruct:ure removal with box culvert construction only'at, st;ceet crossings. Under this latter alternative a t:otal of 28 homes and one commercial building would hav'2 to be acquired and D2moved. Alternative 4: This alternat:ive "!QuId consist of the evacuation of existing develo]?ment wit:hin the IOO-y'2ar flood plain for the reach of Westerly Creek between East: 11th Ave. and Hontview Blvd. plus the additional faciHties t.O resolve remaining flood hazard and drainage problems.
