Alternative 3B combines open <br />channel construction and existing sl:ruct:ure removal with <br />box culvert construction only'at, st;ceet crossings. Under <br />this latter alternative a t:otal of 28 homes and one commercial <br />building would hav'2 to be acquired and D2moved. <br /> <br />Alternative 4: This alternat:ive "!QuId consist of the evacuation <br />of existing develo]?ment wit:hin the IOO-y'2ar flood plain for <br />the reach of Westerly Creek between East: 11th Ave. and <br />Hontview Blvd. plus the additional faciHties t.O resolve <br />remaining flood hazard and drainage problems. <br /> <br />Within the flood plain are approximately 215 homes, 100 <br />apartment buildings, and 2~; commercial, industrial and <br />institutional structures.
