Pine Ridge Gulch is a
direct tributary to the river, but the lower

year floods. However, it does not contain
recommendations for solving flood problems
or plans for use of flood plain areas because
these activities are the responsibilities of local
government.

three-fourths mile of channel has been largeb'
obliterated by agricultural operations, Broth-
erton and Cedar Mountain Gulches are
tributary to Fortification Creek and Pine
Ridge Gulch, respecti\'ely, Plate 1 is a general
map of the Craig area, Data on the stream
reaches studied are shown in Table 1,

TABLE 1
STREAM REACHES STUDIED

Length of
Stream Reach Reach
From: To: (miles)
Yampa River River Mile River Mile 6,97
138,39 145.35
Fortification Creek Mouth Stream Station 4,02
21.20'
Brotherton Gulch Mouth Stream Station 1.26
6.63
Pine Ridge State Highway Stream Station 1.23
13/789 6.50
Cedar Mountain Mouth Stream Station 2,64
13.95
L In thousands of feet.

1
