Weather patterns and streamflows will be monitored closely <br /> <br /> <br />during the runoff period to provide as much warning time as possible. The <br /> <br />public should be particularly alert to flash flood watches and warnings when <br /> <br /> <br />issued by the National Weather Service. May through July will be a critical <br /> <br /> <br />period since the beginning of the runoff has been delayed by cool weather. <br /> <br />Copies of the threat assessment for all major rivers and creeks are available <br /> <br />from the Division of Disaster Emergency Services.
