On ,Tllly 8, 1975, t]wre was a 15 to 20 minuT,e rain- fall of ,85" at about 4:30 P.M. The Spring Gulch Storm Sewer line plugged during this first flood. On July 20, 1975, a second flood storm of ,90 inches fell at about 3:00 P.M. in a 15 to 20 minute period; The Spring Gulch sewer line replugged. On July 23, 1975 another flood storm fell at about 2:00 P.M.; likewise as above of 20 minute duration in the amount of .89 inches. As a result of this storm, all three storm sewers: Spring Gulchi ~evada and Eureka Creek plugged. As a result ,water flowed down the streets. Photographs are enclosed of the d~age immediat€ly following the third flood. Emergency measures taken by Central City personnel have reopened Spring Gulch and Nevada Gulch. The City's out , of pocket expenses incurred in excess of funds that were budgeted and allocated for normal operations and antici- pated contingencies have been accumulated as of August 15, 1975.
