The Spring Gulch Storm <br />Sewer line plugged during this first flood. On July 20, 1975, <br />a second flood storm of ,90 inches fell at about 3:00 P.M. <br />in a 15 to 20 minute period; The Spring Gulch sewer <br />line replugged. <br /> <br />On July 23, 1975 another flood storm fell at about <br />2:00 P.M.; likewise as above of 20 minute duration in the <br />amount of .89 inches. As a result of this storm, all <br />three storm sewers: Spring Gulchi ~evada and Eureka Creek <br />plugged. As a result ,water flowed down the streets. <br />Photographs are enclosed of the d~age immediat€ly following <br />the third flood. <br /> <br />Emergency measures taken by Central City personnel <br />have reopened Spring Gulch and Nevada Gulch. The City's out <br />, of pocket expenses incurred in excess of funds that were <br />budgeted and allocated for normal operations and antici- <br />pated contingencies have been accumulated as of August 15, <br />1975. They are as follows: <br /> <br />..J <br /> <br />1. Materials (Mise-shovels, buckets, etc) 500.00 <br /> <br />2. Machines <br />a. 96 hrs. grader @$35.00/hr 3360.00 <br />b. 112 hrs backhoe @$25.00/hr 2800.00 <br />c. 168 hrs. Dump Truck #1 @$15/hr 2520.00 <br />d. 168 Hrs Dump Truck #2 @$15/hr 2520.00 <br />Subtotal Machines $11200.00 <br /> <br />3. Labor <br />a. Consulting EQgineer ($12.50jhr; <br />29 hours) <br />b.
