Storage of other material or equipment <br />may be allowed if not subject to major <br />damage by floods, and if firmly anchored <br />to prevent flotation or readily removable <br />from the area within the limited time <br />available after flood warning. <br /> <br />5) New or replacement water supply systems and/or <br />sanitary sewage systems shall be designed to <br />minimize or eliminate infiltration of flood <br />waters into the systems and discharges from the <br />systems into flood waters, and on-site waste <br />disposal systems shall be located so as to <br />avoid impairment of them or contamination from <br />them during flooding. The intent is to prevent <br />pollution in the case of flooding. <br /> <br />D. Uses (Subject to the County Planning Commission Review <br />and Recommendation and the Board of County Commissioners <br />Approval of Location) <br /> <br />The following uses, which involve structures (temporary <br />or permanent) fill or storage of materials or equipment, <br />are permitted only upon County Planning Commission <br />review and recommendation and approval by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br /> <br />1) Industrial-commercial uses such as loading areas, <br />airport landing strips, parking areas. <br /> <br />2) Drive-in theaters, roadside stands, signs and <br />bill boards. <br /> <br />3) Extraction of sand, gravel and other materials. <br /> <br />4) Railroads, streets, bridges, utility transmission <br />lines and pipe lines. <br /> <br />5) Storage yards for equipment, machinery or materials. <br /> <br />6) Dog runs and corrals. <br /> <br />J) Similar uses. <br /> <br />VI. FLOODWAY FRINGE DISTRICT (FF) <br /> <br />A. The Floodway Fringe District (FF) Shall Include the <br />Area Between the Floodway District Boundary and the <br />Upper Limits of the Standard Project Flood. <br /> <br />B.
