With this proposed <br />addition, a total of 7,750 linear feet of trail would be available to <br />pedestrians and bicyclists in the park. O1ee an acceptable method of <br />safely crossing th,: streams is established, the Ci ty property to the <br />south of U.S. Highway 6 may be added to the trail system. <br /> <br />SlHIARY <br /> <br />The Tourist Information Center., Overl,md Trail Muset.m1, and golf <br />course would be complemented by additional development of the City <br />park. The park would not only retain the nat'ural setting presently on <br />the site, but would also provide a reereational area sought by the <br />City of Sterling. As interest and use for this proposed park site <br />increase and as development fmds become available, Sterling could <br />develop additional facilities for activities at various locations on <br />its property. <br /> <br />13 <br />
