<br />16 <br /> <br />contents of this report with the appropriate responsible departments, <br />seeking confirmation with the conclusions and recommendations con- <br />tained herein, requesting approval of the 404 Permit application <br />from appropri ate departments of ci ty government, and requesti ng <br />recommmendations to appropriate other administrative and legislative <br />branches of government so as to facilitate implementation of the <br />proposed improvements determined to be economically feasible and in <br />compl iance with the study prepared by the Corps of Engineers and <br />FEt1A. <br /> <br />2. Base maps for the preliminary design drawings should be compiled. <br />It is suggested that the aerial topographic mapping contained in the <br />Fountain Creek Master Planning Study, supplemented with field sur- <br />veying information, as necessary, be used. <br /> <br />3. Site planning previously carried out for the new Safeway Store <br />should be modified to reflect the channel improvements as ascer- <br />tained and concluded herein to be economically beneficial and <br />feasible. <br /> <br />4. Discussions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, informing the <br />Corps as to the supplemental facts as discovered herein, advising <br />the Corps of the proposed construction to the Center and the addi- <br />tional improvements to the 31st Street Bridge and requesting <br />favorable consideration of the owner's request of the issuance of a <br />404 Permit, the application form for which shall be filed immediately. <br />
