<br />INVITATION FOR BIDS <br /> <br />Sealed proposals for the Subdrain and Levee Improvements will be received at <br />the office of the Town of San Luis, 408 Main Street, San Luis, Colorado, and <br />will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 P.M. June 27, 1990. <br />(Time) (Date) <br />Cont ract documents, compl ete with const ruct i on drawi ngs and specifi cat ions, <br />will be available at WRC Engineering, Inc., Writers Tower, Suite 5DO, 1660 <br />South Albion Street, Denver, Colorado 80222 after 4:00 P.M., June 18, 1990. <br />Plans are available at a cost of $35.00 per set (not refundable). <br /> <br />No bidder prequalification is required for this project; provided, however, <br />upon evaluation of bids the apparent low bidder must be prepared to demonstrate <br />his qualifications by submitting evidence to the OWNER such as financial data, <br />p revi ous experi ence, authority to conduct bus i ness in the ju ri sd i ct i on where <br />the project is located, and other requirements as may be specified in the <br />Contract Documents. <br /> <br />Only a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five <br />percent (5%) of the bid will serve as an acceptable proposal guarantee. <br /> <br />As its best interests may appear, the OWNER reserves the right to reject any or <br />all bids and to waive informalities in bid proposals. <br /> <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> <br />The projects consist of approximately 6,500 feet of 10" and 12" diameter <br />perforated drain pipe, including 3 manholes, 9 cleanouts, 2,300 square yards of <br />4" thick asphalt paving. <br /> <br />1-1 <br /> <br />(REVISED 1667-6/90) <br />
