Box 299 <br />San Luis, Colorado 81152 <br /> <br />WRC File: 1667/10 <br /> <br />Re: Town of San Luis "Subdrain and Levee Improvements" Project Re-bid <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Pacheco: <br /> <br />As you are aware, the bid prices for the San Luis "Subdrain and Levee <br />Improvements" Project were more than the town's alotted funds for this work, <br />We have been working with the representatives from Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board and the Department of Local Affairs and per their instruction we will <br />re-bid the project with the four original bidders, <br /> <br />The re-bid will include only Schedule A, the subdrain improvements, <br />Schedule A has one additional item included, removal, transporting and <br />stockpiling of the excess trench excavation material to a location near the <br />proposed Levee Improvements. <br /> <br />Costilla County will to construct the Levee Improvements (Schedule B) for <br />the town with the above mentioned stockpiled material. <br /> <br />Attached are the revised contract documents and we are returning the <br />original bid bonds to the contractors, <br /> <br />The dale of the new bid opening is June 27, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. If you have <br />any questions, please call. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Q:AEERING'INC. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />David E.
