<br />. <br />, <br /> <br />The State Hazard Mitigation Coordinator will generally <br /> <br />identify and contact the key State and local officials, <br />establish schedules and locations, and conduct the <br />briefings with support from the Team Leaders. The <br /> <br />briefings should be held within the first few days <br /> <br />following a Declaration but may be conducted prior to an <br /> <br />imminent Declaration, <br /> <br />Some States may have a State Hazard Mitigation Team in <br /> <br />place that will be augmented by the Interagency Hazard <br /> <br />Mitigation Team and by local representatives, In this <br /> <br />case, it may not be necessary to hold the State and local <br /> <br />briefings. <br /> <br />D, Identify local efforts that are creating mitigation <br />opportunities, <br /> <br />Actions such as moratoriums on reconstruction or other <br /> <br />measures designed to prohibit reoccupancy of damaged <br /> <br />areas should be identified and investigated, <br /> <br />E. Prepare a Mitigation Section staffing pattern and <br /> <br />organizational chart, and a directory of Team members <br /> <br />local addresses and phone numbers, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />F, Continue documenting all hazard mitigation activities and <br /> <br />prepare a daily report. <br />
