<br />. <br />. <br /> <br />II, IMMEDIATE ON-SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />Once on the disaster scene, the Team Leader should begin <br /> <br />immediately to assemble materials for a Team briefing and for the <br />development of the "generic" parts of the Report, Documentation <br /> <br />of Team activities should continue, media relations further <br /> <br />developed, and Administrative support coordinated, In addition, <br />all preparations should be made to assure that the Team can <br /> <br />quickly assess the situation, identify mitigation opportunities <br /> <br />and immediately concentrate on those mitigation actions that may <br /> <br />be lost by early reconstruction, <br /> <br />A, <br /> <br />Set-up DFO work location and coordinate with the <br />Administrative section, <br /> <br />, ! <br /> <br />Furniture, telephones, office supplies and equipment, a <br /> <br />typist, and especially a word processor need to be <br /> <br />immediately available (see Attachment #8). <br /> <br />B. Coordinate with the State Hazard Mitigation Coordinator, <br /> <br />The State Hazard Mitigation Coordinator should have <br /> <br />assembled considerable disaster related data, contacted <br /> <br />State and local governments, and coordinated with the PDA <br /> <br />Team Leader, The Team Leader and the State Hazard <br /> <br />Mitigation Coordinator should determine the need for <br /> <br />State/local briefing(s) and begin preparing for the full <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />. <br />
