Channel Improvements. Construct approximately 3,000 feet of channel
improvements from the confluence of the Saint Vrain River to the outlet from "The
Shores" Lake. The channel improvements should include a low flow channel along
with an overbank area to convey flood flows. In addition, the channel
incorporates a grass lining, bottom width of 20 feet (low flow channel), maximum
top width of 400 feet, sideslopes of 4H:IV, and design depth of approximately 4
feet. In conjunction with construction of the channel, a transition structure into the
Saint Vrain River and from the lake is required.

2. WCR 26 Crossing Replace the existing 3'H x S.5'W RCB crossing ofWCR 26
with a bridge structure with a minimum opening of 6'H x l00'W. Transitions from
the channel improvements to the bridge crossing are required along with placement
of stabilization measures to control the potential erosion in the vicinity of the
crossing.

3. Realign Last Chance Ditch. Construction of the channel and bridge crossing will
require realignment of the Last Chance Ditch to a location adjacent to WCR 26.
An inverted siphon (approximately 150 feet) is required to convey flows beneath
the major drainageway. In conjunction with the realignment of the ditch, a side-
channel weir should be included in the improvements to divert potential stormwater
captured by the ditch into the major drainageway.

5.2.2 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G2: Outlet of "The Shores" Lakes to WCR 24

The proposed improvements to Reach G2 focus on the transition structure between the two
lakes. The transition structure includes the placement of stabilization measures to ensure the
conveyance of stormwater runoff in an erosionally stable manner. Based on a review of proposed
development plans, it has been assumed that a portion of the Rural Ditch will be realigned during
the construction of the lakes. This realignment will be completed in conjunction with development
of the property.
