DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS 5.1 Formulation of Drainage Improvements As part of the master planning efforts, feasible drainage improvements were considered to reduce the flooding problems associated \>lith existing or future development conditions within the Godding Hollow and Tri- Town Basins. To facilitate the screening and evaluation of proposed improvements as well as the formulation of an implementation plan, the major drainageways were divided into reaches. These reaches are described as follows: Godding Hollow Basin Reach G1: Saint Vtain River to "The Shores" Lakes Outlet Godding Hollow Basin Reach G2: Outlet of "The Shores" Lakes to WCR 24 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G3: WCR 24 to Godding Ditch Godding Hollow Basin Reach G4: WCR 20 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G5: WCR 18 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G6: WCR 16 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G7: State Highway 52/Coalridge Ditch Godding Hollow Basin Reach G8: WCR 12 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G9: I-25/WCR 10 Godding Hollow Basin Reach G10: West Tributary at I-25 Tri-Town Basin Reach T1: WCR 24 Tri-Town Basin Reach T2: WCR 22 Tri-Town Basin Reach 13: WCR 20fWCR 18 Tri- Town Basin Reach'T4: Firestone/Frederick Tri-Town Basin Reach T5: FrederickfDacono Tri-Town Basin Reach T6: Railroad Embankment Detention Ponds In general, several improvements were initially identified as potential solutions for the drainage problems discussed in Chapter 4. These improvements were also intended to meet master planning objectives associated with the undeveloped portions of both basins.
