A special study of the major drainageway in the Tri-Town Basin was conducted by Gingery
Associates, Inc. in October 1977, This study involved a hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the
drainageway which resulted in the delineation of the lOG-year floodplain in the vicinity of
Firestone, Frederick and Dacono.
