The claimant of this Pipeline is the City of Loveland, a <br />Municipal Corporation in Larimer County, Colorado. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Idylwild Pipeline was constructed and has been used, operated, and maintained for the <br />diversion of water for power purposes. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The natural stream from which water has been diverted by means of said Pipeline is the Big <br />Thompson River. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />The headgate of said Idylwild Pipeline is located on the south bank of the Big Thompson <br />River at a point from whence the east quarter corner of Section 2, Township 5 north, Range <br />71 west of the 6th PM bears South 52 3' East 884 feet. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />The said Pipeline runs in a general southeasterly direction to a certain hydroelectric plant <br />owned and operated by claimant and located in the northeast quarter of the northwest <br />quarter of Section 7, Township 5 north, Range 70 west on the 6th PM, a distance of <br />approximately two miles from the headgate of said Pipeline. That said Pipeline has an <br />inside diameter of 36 inches, a grade of 10 feet per one thousand feet, and a carrying <br />capacity of 74 cubic feet of water per second of time. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />The work of construction of said Pipeline was commenced by survey on the 14th day of <br />July, 1913, and thereafter claimant did use due diligence in the construction and <br />completion of said Pipeline, and did complete the same on or about the 1st day of January, <br />1925. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />That upon completion of said Pipeline, water was diverted to the extent of its carrying <br />capacity and used for the manufacture of electric power in claimant's said hydroelectric <br />plant, and water has been diverted through said pipeline continuously thereafter whenever <br />water was needed, and was available for the manufacture of electric power. <br />
