TOI <br /> <br />REGION VIII <br /> <br />To: All Interested Agencies, Groups, and Persons <br />Subject: Notice of Environmental Finding <br /> <br />The City of Loveland, Colorado, FDAA-517-DR-2, has requested funding under <br />the Disaster Relief Act of 1974, Public Law 93-288, for the reconstruction <br />of a city-owned diversion dam, pipeline, and hydroelectric plant destroyed <br />by the July 31, 1976 flood in the Big Thompson Canyon. <br /> <br />Based on the results of a special environmental review, we have determined <br />that the proposed project does not constitute a major Federal action signi- <br />ficantly affecting the quality of the human environment and accordingly <br />have decided not to prepare an environmental impact statement under the <br />National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, Public Law 91-190.
