This
is carried out in connection with general investigations
and Flood-Plain Management Services (FPMS) programs. The
FPMS unit in each district office serves as a point of con-
tact. Data applied within district boundaries and may
cover several different flood sources as well as several
decades of experience.

Data are not standardized but arranged to meet study
requirements. Some are stored in computer-compatible for-
mat. Cost, if any, is dependent on ease of access and
volume of reproduction required. Generally requires a
person-to-person interrogation.

Summary information mayor may not be available.

District Engineer
U.S. Army Engineer District
(in 37 cities)

or for general information:

Flood Plain Management Services Branch
Office, Chief of Engineers (DAEN-CWP-F)
Washington, DC 20314

Tele: (202) 693-1691 FTS 693-1691

56
