Data include <br />estimates of land and crop damage, present land use by land <br />damage (in acres), emergency tillage, land in condition to <br />blow, adverse effects of soil blowing, control actions, and <br />planned treatment effects. Covers the 10 Great Plains states, <br />from mid-1930's to present. Reports are based on observa- <br />tions by SCS county staff. The national office currently <br />(since 1977) collects only the state summaries. County data <br />are available in the state offices. <br /> <br />Hard copy, unpublished. Copies available at cost of dupli- <br />cation.
