Some data are from the early 1900's, most are <br />since 1940's. Measurements taken once per month, January <br />to April or May (once per hour if needed). SCS works with <br />the National Weather Service's River Forecast Offices in <br />determining snow-runoff potential and water supply. Some <br />automated sites are now operational. <br /> <br />Computer tapes, cards, searches, and printouts available <br />free for small requests, at cost of duplication for large <br />orders.
