At a
minimum, the following studies are essen-
tial: floodplain hydraulics, lake level analy-
sis. risk analysis. rainfall and flood frequency
anal}'5is, analysis of climatology. low-flow
hydrology, sediment transport (includ.
ing reservoir sedimentation), and channel
capacity analysis.

l'OTENTIAl SClI.UTJON 5-A
Identify existing studies and determine
what additional studies are nt?edt?d. {This
action would also addrrss LAck of Information
about Water Quality and Eroswn; see Solution
3-8, page 39.}
The S.D. The V.s.
Geological Survey and the V.s.
