A flood-prone community apply- <br />Ing for flood insurance eligibility shall <br />meet the standa.rds of f 6O.3{a) In order <br />to become ellglble if a FHBM has not <br />been issued for the community at the <br />time of appllca.tlon. Thereafter, the <br />community will be glven a period of six <br />months from the da.te the Director pro- <br />vides the data set forth in f60.3(b). (c). <br />(d). (e) or (f). In which to meet the re- <br />quirements of the applicable para.- <br />graph. If a community has received a <br />FHBM. but has not yet a.pplied for Pro- <br />gram eligibility, the community shall <br />apply for eligibility directly under the <br />standa.rds set forth in f60.3{b). There- <br />&fter, the community will be glven a <br />period of six months from the date the <br />Director prOVides the data set forth in <br />f60.3 (c). (d). The submission to the <br />State shall clea.rly describe proposed <br />enforcement procedures. <br />(0 The community officla.l respon- <br />sible for submitting annua.l or biennial <br />reports to the Adminlstra.tor pursua.nt <br />to f59.22{b){2) of this subchapter shall <br />also submit copies of ea.ch a.nnual or bl- <br />ennia.l report to any State Coordinat- <br />Ing Agency. <br />(g) A community shall a.ssure that Its <br />comprehensive plan is consistent with <br />the flood plain management objectives <br />of this part. <br />(h) The community shall adopt and <br />enforce flood plain management regu- <br />lations based on data prOVided by the <br />Administrator. Without prior a.pproval <br />of the Administrator, the community <br />shall not adopt and enforce flood plain <br />management regulations based upon <br />modified data reflecting na.tura.l or <br />man-made physical cha.nges. <br /> <br />[41 FR 46975.
