Page 2
Mr. David Walker
April 29, 1982

As part of the District's funding from EPA, a grant
was obtained for the specific purpose of studying whether
or not portions of the St. VrainCreek could be reclaimed
to support aquatic life. The study further involves an
irrigation management study to determine if current
practices of irrigation are efficient. A local farm has
been used as a test case for this study.

We compliment you on your efforts to model the present
and potential future water use and hope that the realization
of the Coffintop project will further the management and
availability of our water for the entire Platte,:River Basin.

We appreciate the opportunity to review your Draft and
will be pleased if our comments are of some benefit.

Sincerely,

ST. VRAIN lUID LEFT HAND
WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

~~

James Cinea

JC:bk

Ene
