<br />Sand Creek) <br /> <br />Templeton Gap South Fork upstream of a point approximately 100 feet downstream of the crossing of <br />Picturesque Drive <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-416 rescinded the incorrect approximate floodplain <br />information listed in Table 6; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the City of Colorado Springs dated September 30, 1992 <br />removed the incorrect approximate floodplain information listed in Table 6, thereby correcting <br />the mapping mistake originally made in Resolution No. 264; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the City of Colorado Springs dated September 30, 1992 <br />includes approximate floodplain information, which was supported by a detailed hydrologic <br />analysis, which information was originally designated and approved by Resolution No. 264, which <br />was subsequently revised by a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) and designated and approved, <br />as revised, by Resolution No. 96-416, and which was incorrectly mapped, as originally shown <br />in Resolution No. 264, thereby ignoring the information in the LOMR, for the following stream <br />reach, as listed on Table 7, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein: <br /> <br />TABLE 7 <br /> <br />Approximate Information Previouslv Correctlv Revised bv a LOMR. <br />Desimated As Revised bv Resolution No.96-416. <br />Now Incorrectlv Mapped As Unrcvised <br /> <br />Fishers Canyon from the corporate limit of the City ilfColorado Springs just upstream of the crossing of Loomis <br />Avenue, as it was on September 30,1992, upstrellJjl to the crossing of West Meadow Drive <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board is taking this action under the provisions of Rule 9.D.2. of the <br />Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Storm <br />or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-1), (Board Initiative), and the City of <br />Colorado Springs and the El Paso Regional Building Department have been notified and their <br />co=ents have been considered in this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado, has sent a letter requesting the <br />Colorado Water Conservation to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the aforesaid <br />new report which was dated after the deadline of 30 days prior to this Board meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-l06(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br /> <br />8 <br />
