<br />with approximate floodplain information previously designated and approved by Resolution No. <br />264, for various stream reaches within the corporate limits of the City of Colorado Springs, as <br />they were on September 30, 1992, which have drainage areas that do not meet the minimum <br />standards of the procedure adopted by the Board for estimating 1 DO-year peak flows for <br />approximate floodplain information, which information was, therefore, not designated and <br />approved as approximate floodplain information with approximate hydrology information by <br />Resolution No, 96-416; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the City of Colorado Springs dated September 30, 1992 <br />includes, by reference, on the basis of completed flood control improvements and hydraulic <br />analyses that were approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of Letters <br />of Map Revision (LOMRs), approximate floodplain information, which was supported by detailed <br />hydrologic analyses, previously designated and approved by Resolution No, 96-416 for various <br />stream reaches within the corporate limits of the City of Colorado Springs, as they were on <br />September 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,said new report for the City of Colorado Springs dated September 30, 1992 <br />provides, on the basis of more current and complete hydrologic and/or hydraulic analyses <br />performed as part of a restudy by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the following <br />detailed floodplain infonnation which revises detailed floodplain information previously <br />designated by Resolution No, 264, as listed in Table I, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein: <br /> <br />TABLE 1 <br /> <br />Detailed Information Which Revises bv FEMA Restudv Previous Detailed Information <br /> <br />Sand Creek Center Tributary from a point approximately 900 feet downstream of the crossing of Galley Road <br />upstream to the crossing of Omaha Boulevard <br /> <br />Sand Creek Center Tributary Overflow from the crossing of Galley Road upstream to the crossing of Omaha <br />Boulevard <br /> <br />South Shooks Run <br /> <br />Templeton Gap Floodway from a point approximately 1800 feet upstream of the crossing of Templeton Gap <br />Boulevard upstream to a point approximately 2150 feet upstream of the crossing of Templeton Gap Boulevard <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for the City of Colorado Springs dated September 30, 1992 <br />includes detailed floodplain information which revises, on the basis of more current hydrologic <br />and/or hydraulic analyses performed as part of a restudy by the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency, approximate floodplain infonnation previously designated by Resolution No, 96-416 for <br />the following stream reaches, as listed on Table 2, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />5 <br />
