<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />in regular meeting assembled in Sterling, Colorado, this 14th day of May, 1996, that it does <br />hereby designate and approve as a storm or floOdwater runoff channel' or basin Coal Creek <br />within the Town of Coal Creek, as described by tile approximate floodplain information in said <br />new report dated April 1996, that meets the criteria for the regression equation for Arkansas <br />River Basin Subregion Ark-3, QUIO = l089.27(A)o.63s, as set forth in the Guidelines for <br />Determining lOO-Year Flood Flows for Approximate Floodplains, contingent upon the <br />understanding that the Town of Coal Creek will regulate the approximate floodplains on a case- <br />by-case basis subject to a detailed hydrologic and l1ydraulic analysis performed by a professional <br />engineer, in accordance with the determinations of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />regarding the applicability of the Guidelines for Determining IOO-Year Flood Flows for <br />Approximate Floodplains; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to <br />send a certified copy of this resolution to the Town of Coal Creek; the Town of Williamsbug; <br />the City of Rorence; the Board of County Conunissioners of Fremont County; the Colorado <br />Office of Emergency Management; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District; <br />and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Sterling, Colorado, on the 14th day of May, 1996, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />fpr425.doc brh <br /> <br />3 <br />
