<br />FPR 94,371 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 SherlIlan Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />September 14, 1994 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Analyses, Coal Creek and <br />Rock Creek, Boulder and Weld Counties, Colorado" dated October 1976 has been prepared by the U.S. <br />Soil Conservation Service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes detailed floodplain information for Rock and Coal Creeks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Lafayette, <br />Colorado, by Resolution No. 66, adopted on January 4, 1977, designated and approved the floodplains <br />described in said report; and ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Boulder County, <br />Colorado (Unincorporated Areas), Volumes 1-5" dated July 15, 1988 has been prepared by various <br />engineering firms under contract to the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Boulder County and the <br />Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UD&FCD), by Resolution No. 336, adopted on November <br />10, 1992, designated and approved the floodplains described in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Flood Insurance Rate Maps contained in the aforementioned study contain <br />detailed floodplain information for Rock and Coal Creeks within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Lafayette; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain infomlation within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Lafayette was not designated and approved by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in Resolution <br />No. 336; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Boulder County, <br />Colorado (Unincorporated Areas), Volumes 1-5" dated July 3, 1990 has been prepared by various <br />engineering firms under contract to the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Boulder County and the <br />UD&FCD, by Resolution No. 337, adopted on November 10, 1992, designated and approved the <br />floodplains described in said report; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Flood Insurance Rate Maps contained in the aforementioned study contain <br />detailed floodplain information for Rock and Coal Creeks within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Lafayette; and <br />
