<br />FOREWORD <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This Training Document is intended to show how the encroachment <br />routines in computer program HEC-2 can be used to evaluate the impact <br />of floodway encroachments on water surface profiles. Funding for <br />preparation of this document was provided by the Flood Plain Manage- <br />ment Branch, Office, Chief of Engineers. The computer program HEC-2 <br />was developed by Bill S. Eichert.
