Persons in blue zones should take precautions and <br />evacuate. See Appendix C for list of identified structures. <br /> <br />2. Provide traffic control (barricades. Enforcement <br />Officers, etc.) in and near flooded aress. Roads that could be <br />affected should also ba closed. Roads that have been <br />identified as being affected include portions of the following <br />roads (See Plates 5 - 11) : <br /> <br />County Road 119 <br />East 5th Street <br />County Road 138 <br />Maple <br />Sante Fe <br />Cyanide <br /> <br />3. City Departments should be fully operational and <br />working in coordination with the City Emergency Operations <br />Center. County, State and other agencies should also be <br />closely coordinating their activities with the City EOC. Lines <br />of communications are established as necessary. <br /> <br />4. Identify vulnerable areas where sandbags could be <br />placed. See Appendix D for information on the State Sandbag <br />policy and Appendix K for information on Corps Floodfighting. <br /> <br />5. Raise and remove equipment in the RED zone. Evacuate <br />residences and businesses from the RED zone if raising of the <br />property is determined not adequate, or the flood is predicted <br />to crest in the red zone. <br /> <br />6. Have Red Cross open the following temporary shelter <br /> <br />for evacuees: <br /> <br />Florence High School Gym <br />School District BE2 <br />2nd {, Maple <br /> <br />Rote: This should be the initial check-in place identified for <br />all persons (addresses) listed in Appendix C. If long term <br />shelter will be required.
