<br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The adaption 01 the suggested reVISion to Chapter 106, administration of county sub- <br />division regulations, and utilization of the Commission's model regulations strengthen <br />local government and improve each county's ability to control the design and develop- <br />ment of subdivisions not yet granted approval in accorrdance with county subdivision <br />regulations. However, there are a great many undeveloped subdivisions, many recently <br />recorded, which have not accounted for water supply, soils suitability, or other important <br />environmental and ecanomic concerns. These can only be brought to this accounting <br />through the recommended Subdivided land Sales Act which requi res proof of adequate <br />water and sewer capabilities and appropriate soils and geologic characteristics prior to <br />the disposition. For this reason, the Colorado land Use Commission has endorsed the <br />land Sales Act drafted by the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry. <br /> <br />As shown on the accompanying chart, this proposed act is intended ta compliment the <br />proposed revisions to Chapter 106. <br /> <br />.
