Fork South Platte River North Turkey Creek Parmalee Gulch Pine Gulch Rooney Gulch Rooney Gulch Spillway Sand Draw Sawmill Gulch SJCD 6100 SJCD 6200 SJCD 6200 North Tributary South Platte River Swede Gulch Switzers Gulch Troublesome Creek Turkey Creek VanBibber Creek VanBibber Creek Tributary Weaver Creek Wilmot Creek Wilmot Creek Tributary WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board completed a new report entitled "Hydrology Addendum, Jefferson County, Colorado" dated September 1999 which provides technical and floodplain management information to supplement said report with included maps dated July 4, 1989; and LOCAL CONSENT FOR DESIGNATION WHEREAS, Jefferson County, Colorado has provided verbal consent for the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplain information contained in said report with included maps dated July 4, 1989; and C.R.S AUTHORITY WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(l)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and 3
