Suchmalntenancei'louldlmprovetheabi1ityofthe <br />ditch toconveystonnrunofffromArea2to the river. <br /> <br /> <br />Servlce Area No.3 <br />In addition to tile 54.1nchoutfall Jinewhich now serves the <br />downtoi'ln area, HOSkins and Associates (1957) recommended additlona1 <br />sewers in order to dispose of the excess in~pipe loading. These relief <br />lines hdvenotbe<>n instdl1ed. <br />The additional lines would include a 3D-inch reinforced concrete <br />relief pipe on Ash Street fromOivlsion';venue to Soutll Thlrd Stree t <br />and a 48-fnch reinforced concrete plpe from Third Street to South Second <br />Street on Ash. Asthesystemisnowconstructed,theAshstreetrellef <br />line could be tied Into the 54-fnch outfall by d 48-inch reinforced <br />concrete pipe on South Second Street between Ash and Main Streets. <br />a 48- ;nch pipe on Main between So~th Second and Front, and a 48~ <br />inch pipe on Front between Main and the 48-inch stub on then'ldnho1eat <br />the outfall.
