rtf-

· t

and the distance between alphanumeric characters.
below.
Dash lines consist of visible and invisible line segments. The length of

Specffi cs are di scussed

.

a particular line segment is indicated by a single integer value.

If that

integer is odd, the line segment will be visible. If that integer is an
even number, the line segment will be invisible. By stringing together two
or more digits, a line of multiple segments can be generated. The first line
. .

segment corresponds with the left-most digit. Segment processing proceeds
from left to right until the last digit is processed whereuDon it returns
to the left most digit. Below are listed the available integers and the
corresponding line lengths (in inches):

INTEGER

LENGTH (INCHES)

0.0366
0.0733
0.1831
0.3662

1 or 2
3 or 4
5 or 6
7 or 8

Three examples of a dash line specification are:

"07212" which creates the following line: 0.366 inches visible,
0.0366 inches invisible, 0.0366 inches visible, 0.0366
inches invisible, and then back to 0.3662 inches visible,
etc.

"Dn" would create a solid line consisting of 0.3662 inch

segments.

.

"071" would create a line that is: 0.7324 inches visible, .0366
inches invisible and then back to 0.7324 inches visible, etc.

.

24

&

.-
