YAUP I - to enter y-axis value similar to the "XAUPI" variable.

XPI - to enter x-axis value which "ill apply tOC)/le individual plot
and to no others.

~

YPI - to enter y-axis value sinrilar to the "XPI" variable
specification.

Variables used to control the virtual minilllUlll and IIIlIximum graph limits for
a given single plot are:

XMIN - to enter x-axis virtual nrfnimum value

XMAX - to enter x-axis virtual lIl8xilllUlll value

YMIN - to enter y-axis virtual nrfnilllllll value

YMAX - to enter y-axis virtual maxillll/l\l value

When entering values applicable to only one plot, a value must be assigned
to "NSC", which indicates which graph the scale specification refers to. The
value can be set by entering the variable "NSe", or by entering "SCALE" and
responding to the prompt questions.

.

Conceptually, speci~ing individual plot scales is different for cross-
sections than it is for profiles. Profile data can be viewed as one set of
data for a given stul(y. The user specifies multiple "windows" to look at di f";
ferent portions of this one data set. Cross-section data can be viewed as
multiple sets of data. One set of data consists of information applicable for
one cross-section. Thus, plot linrtts applicable to a set of data are specific
to a given cross-section. Entering specific scaling data is slightly dif-
ferent between cross-sections and profiles. For profiles, a typical specifica-
tion would include identifying the curve nudler "NSC" and any accompanying

~

17
