INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The cities, incorporated towns and counties within the <br /> <br />study area may provide zoning regulations <br /> <br />This report has been prepared for the Urban Drainage and <br /> <br />"...to establish, regulate, restrict, and limit such uses <br />on or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or <br />basin, as such storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin <br />has been designated and approved by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board, in order to lessen or avoid the hazards <br />to persons and damage to property resulting from the <br />accumulation of storm or floodwaters..." <br /> <br />Flood Control'District (UDFCD), the City of Thornton, and <br /> <br />Adams County. It delineates the potential hazard associated <br /> <br />with a 100-year flood on the channels of Brantner Gulch, its <br /> <br />tributaries, and Regional Park Tributaries North and South. <br /> <br />as stated in Section 30-28-11 for the county governments and <br /> <br />The flood plains are deemed accurate within the limitations of <br /> <br />Section 31-23-201 for municipal governments of the Colorado <br /> <br />hydrologic methodology, water surface profile computations, and <br /> <br />Revised Statutes 1973. <br /> <br />the scales of the mapping utilized. The report assumes that <br /> <br />Upon acceptance of this report by the Urban Drainage and <br />Flood Control District and the designation and approval of <br /> <br />the drainage basin is fully developed and that the channel <br /> <br />configuration is that which exists in 1982.
