INTRODUCTION

In 1973, the City of Littleton received a federal grant to prepare a drainageway
master plan for Slaughterhouse Gulch. The City retained the engineering firm
of Frasier and Gingery, In~., to carry out the planning and preliminary design
required to identify and resolve the potential flood hazards within the
Slaughterhouse Gulch study area. The attached interim report includes evaluation
of the identifiable drainage problems on the gulch, and recommends alternative
solutions.

Because of possible effects the project may have, a statement is required
analyzing adverse or beneficial impacts on the environment. The following report
is intended to provide an analysis of these impacts and to preclude or minimize
potential adverse effects of the project.
