He also developed designs for the inlet and
outlet structures of the reservoir.

. Project Engineer Abandoned Mine Land Project 16B, Gas Hills, Wyoming. Mr. Jones
actively participated in the development of a report detailing geomorphic design criteria
for the Gas Hills area of Wyoming. This study consisted of selecting and evaluating
various morphometric parameters for drainage basins located in a 25 square mile
disturbance. A stepwise regression technique was utilized to evaluate the critical
morphometric parameters and develop the geomorphic design criteria for the disturbed
lands.

Mr. Jones is the co-author of a report dealing with erosion control principles and
practices for abandoned mine lands. The fInal product of these studies was a handbook of
construction and reclamation techniques suitable for disturbed lands.
Mr. lones' experience with computer applications has included a wide variety projects.
He has participated in numerous hydrologic investigations requiring application of HEC-I
(Flood Hydrograph Package) to complex watershed systems. In addition, he has conducted
many hydraulic investigations using HEC-2 (Water Surface Profiles). These have included a
stonn drainage channel in Golden Cowrado, the Shoshone River near LoveU Wyoming.

17
