Koch, P.E. <br />Senior Engineer <br /> <br />Mr. Koch is a hydraulic/water resources engineer with Lidstone & Anderson, Inc. (LA). <br />He has been both project manager and senior engineer for studies involving: <br /> <br />. hydrologic, hydraulic and sediment transport analyses of natural and improved river <br />systems; <br /> <br />. preparation and updating of master drainage plans; <br /> <br />. preliminary and final design of flood control channels, channel erosion protection <br />measures, storm sewers, and dam outlet works; and <br /> <br />. evaluation of, and design of mitigation measures for, channel bed and bank erosion in <br />a variety of natural settings. <br /> <br />Mr. Koch is well-versed in the application of and theoretical basis for numerous <br />hydrologic and hydraulic computer models, including: <br /> <br />. the EPA Stormwater Management Model (SWMM); <br /> <br />· the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Flood Hydrograph Package (HEC-l); <br /> <br />. the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Backwater Prome computer model (HEC-2); <br /> <br />. the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' unsteady flow model for analyzing full network <br />stream systems (UNET); <br /> <br />. the RMA models (FASTIABS) for two-dimensional analysis of open channels; <br /> <br />. the computer program which automates the Federal Highway Administration procedures <br />for designing culverts (HY-8); and <br /> <br />. the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District computer model for hydraulic analysis <br />of storm sewer systems (UDSewer). <br /> <br />Mr. Koch has been the project manager for many urban drainage system analyses and <br />designs in the Cities of Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, and Firestone, Colorado, as well as the <br />City of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The following is a selected sample of studies for which Mr. Koch <br />has been involved: <br /> <br />. Project manager for Drake Road/Spring Creek Channel Improvements. This project was <br />conducted in conjunction with the widening of Drake Road between Shields Street and <br />Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins and included an update of the Spring Creek Master <br />Drainage Plan, analysis and design of the Spring Creek crossing of Drake Road, <br /> <br />13 <br />
