<br />BASIS OF CONTRACT AWARD <br /> <br />General: This section is provided to more specifically detail <br />the scope of work outlined in the Contract Agreement. <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to supply and include in his cost <br />proposal the entire cost of all materials, equipment, labor, <br />labor supervision, construction tools and equipment, construction <br />services and utilities, all overhead, expendibles, guarantees, <br />and fuel costs as required to perform the CLARK LAKE REHABILITA- <br />TION PROJECT and has included all such costs in Schedules "A" and <br />"B" of the contract. <br /> <br />Schedule "A" Items: <br /> <br />1.0 Mobilization <br /> <br />This item shall include but not be limited to all of the <br />Contractor's move in costs, including delivering equipment <br />to the site, erection and maintenance of all temporary <br />facilities and controls such as Contractor field office, <br />temporary toilets, temporary electricity, temporary heat, <br />and completion and erection of the temporary sign. Included <br />in this item also shall be the Contractor's cost of the <br />performance bonds, payment bonds, insurance, permits, and <br />any other such general requirements as may be set forth for <br />the completion of this project. <br /> <br />The basis of payment for this item shall be lump sum. <br /> <br />2.0 Dewatering <br /> <br />This item shall include but not be limited to all work <br />required by the Contractor to dewater the site or individual <br />excavations as required throughout construction. It shall <br />include handling of all surface runoff, stream flows, and <br />ground water. <br /> <br />This item shall include but not be limited to all costs of <br />temporary dikes, culverts, pumping systems, electricity or <br />fuel, casings, well points, and all other such items. <br /> <br />Payment for this item shall be <br />monthly pro-rated basis throughout <br /> <br />lump sum to be paid on a <br />the construction period. <br /> <br />3. Stripping, clearing, qrubbing, razing outlet, and spoiling <br /> <br />This item shall include all stripping on the site including <br />borrow areas; clearing, stripping, and grubbing all <br />construction areas; clearing in the reservoir area as <br />indicated on the drawings; removal of trees near the dam <br />toe; razing all structures and piping associated with the <br /> <br />CD-7 <br />
