This is a <br />project which will cost: about $40 million. <br />However, this project does not require any <br />financial contribution by the State of Colorado <br />as chatfield did, other than for the game, fish <br />and wildlife aspects,~f it. Again, there is a <br />very significant portion of the project cost <br />dedicated to fish, wildlife and recreation. <br /> <br />I have written 11r. Woodward, Director of <br />Game, Fish and Parks Division, requesting that <br />the Game and Fish Commission enact a resolution <br />by which it agrees to pay the state cost for <br />the game, fish and recJ:-"'ation features which <br />are allocated to the state. These two resolu- <br />tions then will be suffici.ent for the Corps <br />of Engineers to commence land a.cquisition. As <br /> <br />-47- <br /> <br /> <br />---- <br />
