" , , i i I ,.. r t f These are the assurances that the united States requests prior to the start of con- struction of the Bear Creek Dam. This is a project which will cost: about $40 million. However, this project does not require any financial contribution by the State of Colorado as chatfield did, other than for the game, fish and wildlife aspects,~f it. Again, there is a very significant portion of the project cost dedicated to fish, wildlife and recreation. I have written 11r. Woodward, Director of Game, Fish and Parks Division, requesting that the Game and Fish Commission enact a resolution by which it agrees to pay the state cost for the game, fish and recJ:-"'ation features which are allocated to the state.
