STUDY TO BE DESIGNATED

WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed floodplain
information maps entitled "Flood Insurance Rate Maps, Clear Creek County, Colorado,
Unincorporated Areas" dated March 1980; and

WHEREAS, said maps include approximate 100-year (Zone A) floodplain delineations for
the following storm and floodwater runoff channels and basins within the unincorporated portions
of Clear Creek County, as of March 1980:

WHEREAS, said maps do not include detailed floodplain information within the
unincorporated portions of Clear Creek County, as of March 1980, and;

WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board completed a new hydrology report
entitled "Engineering Technical Report, Hydrologic Analysis, Clear Creek County, Colorado"
dated February 1998 which provides hydrology information for certain stream reaches within Clear
Creek County; and

WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has also completed a new report
entitled "Floodplain Information Report, Clear Creek County, Colorado" dated November 1998
which provides hydrology and other information, and incorporates the hydrology information
contained in aforesaid hydrology report dated February 1998, for certain approximate floodplain
delineations contained in aforesaid "Flood Insurance Rate Maps, Clear Creek County, Colorado,
Unincorporated Areas" dated March 1980; and
