<br />WHEREAS, said new report for EI Paso County dated March 2, 1989 includes, either directly or <br />by reference, approximate floodplain information which is consistent with approximate floodplain <br />information previously designated and approved by Resolution No. 263, for stream reaches which have <br />drainage areas less than one-half (0.5) square mile; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for EI Paso County dated March 2, 1989 provides, on the basis of <br />completed flood control improvements and hydraulic analyses that were approved by the ' Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency as part of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) the following <br />approximate floodplain information, which was supported by detailed hydrologic analyses, which <br />information revises approximate floodplain information previously designated and approved by <br />Resolution No. 263, as listed in Table 4, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein: <br /> <br />TABLE 4 <br /> <br />Approximate Information Whil;h Revises by a LOMR <br />Preyiously Desilmated Approximate Information <br /> <br />Beaver Creek from a point approximately 2000 feet upstrean1 of its crossing of Baptist Road upstream to a point <br />approximately 5800 feet upstream of that crossing <br /> <br />Fishers Canyon (fonnerly Spring Run) from a point immediately upstream of the railroad crossing approximately 100 <br />feet upstream of its crossing of B Street upstream to th~ southeastern cOrporale limit of the City of Colorado <br />Springs approximately 50 feet upstream of its crossing ofi--oomis Avenue, as it was on March 2, 1989 <br /> <br />;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a detailed hydrologic analysis has beell performed for the stream reach included in <br />Table 4; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed hydrologic analysis perfonned for the stream reach included in Table 4 <br />has been approved and fonnally adopted by the City of Colorado Springs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 263 included appro,dmate floodplain information which incorrectly <br />identified as floodprone the following areas, as listed ill Table 5, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein: <br /> <br />TABLES <br /> <br />Approximate Information Desilmated by FPR No. 263 <br />Which Incorrectly Identifies Floodplains <br /> <br />Calhan area main tributary (to Big Sandy Creek) from a point approximately 50 feet downstream of its crossing of <br />McClaskey Road upstream to a point approximately 3800 feet upstream of its crossing of 8th Street in the Town <br />of Calhan, both within the the Town of Calhan and within unincorporated portions of EI Paso County <br /> <br />7 <br />
